In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we’re happy to share the sixth video of our “In the Pocket” series. This installment features The Village for Families & Children, a non-profit organization that The Pita Group is proud to support. The Village is a human services agency that is committed to building a community of strong, healthy families who protect and nurture children. The organization was founded in 1809 and serves the Hartford region and state of Connecticut.
Lori Garrick, marketing coordinator at The Village for Families & Children, discusses how the organization uses social media to market to volunteers, donors and the corporate community. She also shares the best piece of advice she has received.
Our next “In the Pocket” video will be released in December, featuring insights from Gail Lebert from Hartford Business Journal.
Be sure to stay tuned for future “In the Pocket” videos featuring business leaders from companies and organizations including Yale Cancer Center, The Beardsley Zoo, eVariant, Maritime Aquarium, Comcast, CERC and more.
We’d love to hear your feedback, ideas for interviews and recommendations for future guests – let us know what you think. We hope you’ll join us in the pocket!
